Sharpen your lawn mower blade with a simple hand file and an oil stone. Th sharper the blade is the greener and more even your lawn with be when you’re finished. By the way, with rotary mowers, make sure that you don’t bend the blade while you are trying to sharpen it. If the two cutting surfaces are out of alignment with each other tearing may result – even if you’ve done a super job of sharpening.
