For a Big Impact
Brentwood, California
Scope: These homeowners wanted to make some cosmetic updates to their kitchen. They aimed to preserve their ceiling detail, alter their kitchen island to create something more functional with more storage, and update their appliances.
Features: We made changes to the island. We removed the bar height on two sides and added custom cabinets for additional storage and support to the new single-level countertop. We also painted the existing cabinets. The countertop has a radius overhang for ample seating. Additionally, we installed under cabinet lighting for more lighting options, oil-rubbed bronze cabinet hardware, and waterproof luxury vinyl flooring in Verdugo by Protek. The backsplash is a beautiful handmade-look subway tile. We were thrilled to keep the gorgeous ceiling, adding the perfect texture and interest.

Client Testimonial: “The Carey Brothers remodeled our kitchen in 2021, and we love the results. It was a difficult time to complete a remodel as materials and deliveries were stalled and inconsistent, but the Carey Brothers pulled it off. Any problems that occurred as a result of the pandemic were immediately rectified. Matt (supervisor) did a great job communicating with us; he understood what we wanted and completed the job during a difficult time. Michelle (designer) did an amazing job! She understood our vision even when we didn’t know how to articulate what we wanted. The final result is beautiful, and probably most importantly, it’s functional. Since then, I have spent most of my time in my fabulous kitchen.” -Diane M.
